Job Description

Job Summary Ghost RX is hiring qualified MRI Technologists to work at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center located in Northport, NY . Any state license is accepted. Benefits. Competitive Salary Medical, Dental, Vision PTO 401(k) match 3% Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification as required in ANY State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia BLS through American Heart Association Ability to pass a government criminal history background screening Duties Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process, ensuring their comfort, and verifying medical histories. Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to established protocols and safety standards. Perform advanced imaging techniques Apply aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during invasive or contrast-based procedures. Assess images for quality and clarity, making necessary adjustments to optimize diagnostic utility. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret imaging results and facilitate accurate diagnosis. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and technical parameters. Ensure proper handling and administration of contrast agents, following safety guidelines. Stay current with technological advancements in medical imaging and participate in ongoing professional development. Uphold patient safety standards by monitoring physiological responses during procedures and responding promptly to any adverse reactions.
Pay:
From $75.00 per hour
