Schedule:
4x10-hour shifts: 7:30am - 6:00pm On call every other weekend
Role Highlights:
As a valued Neurointerventional Radiologic Technologist, you'll deliver critical technical support for both interventional and neurointerventional radiology procedures. This includes working alongside expert physicians in advanced settings, from complex angiography to leading-edge embolization and clot retrieval procedures. Each day offers a dynamic blend of learning, teaching, and direct patient impact—contributing toward high-quality outcomes and advancing your clinical skills.
Qualifications:
ARRT (R) credential required Valid NYS license BLS certification Prior IR and neurointerventional radiology experience
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and clinical assistance for IR and neurointerventional procedures: discograms, aspirations, ablations, and more Operate advanced imaging equipment using established guidelines and protocols Maintain strict radiation safety and overall patient safety Support and mentor students/residents and perform preceptor duties as needed Conduct quality assurance checks and assist with inventory for IR procedures Utilize hospital information systems, assist with IR scheduling, and review procedure coding for accuracy Stay at the forefront of technologic and procedural advancements through continuous education Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all facility policies
