Two positions are available, with a start date of October 28th, 2024, for a 13-week assignment.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm No on-call requirement No holidays

Required Qualifications:

Completion of formal training in an accredited School of Radiologic Technology Active and current New York State licensure as required ARRT certification in MRI Demonstrated experience as an MRI Technologist in a clinical healthcare setting Commitment to patient safety and comfort, with excellent interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders and established protocols Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring proper positioning and adherence to safety guidelines Accurately document patient histories, procedure details, and image quality Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal imaging results Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, reporting any malfunctions or needs for service Ensure a safe, sanitized environment by following infection control and departmental policies Benefits of this
