Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career in diagnostic imaging by supporting patient care with your expertise in radiology. This contract opportunity is ideal for an Imaging - Radiology Technologist/X-ray Technologist who values precision, compassion, and efficiency in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Qualifications:
Valid ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) Current state license to practice as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist BLS certification required Recent experience in a clinical setting performing radiographic imaging Strong knowledge of equipment operation, positioning, and radiation safety Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays as ordered by providers Operate imaging equipment with accuracy and safety, ensuring quality of images Prepare and position patients following proper techniques for optimal image capture Adhere to protocols governing radiation exposure and patient protection Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and documentation Ensure a clean and safe environment in the imaging suite Communicate findings and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff Assist with patient education and answer questions related to radiology procedures
