Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program Current ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent credentials required Valid radiologic technologist license for New York (or eligibility to obtain) Strong proficiency with MRI equipment and protocols Understanding of safety practices related to magnetic resonance imaging Excellent patient interaction skills with the ability to provide clear instructions Attention to detail in imaging and patient documentation Prior contract or hospital imaging experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Operate MRI equipment to produce quality diagnostic images Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures following safety protocols Review requisitions and consult with medical staff regarding testing protocols Monitor and ensure the safety of patients throughout their scans Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures and outcomes thoroughly Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure exceptional patient outcomes Perform regular equipment checks and report any concerns to maintenance or supervisory staff Stay current with MRI best practices and continuing education as required
