Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in nuclear medicine and diagnostic imaging to a dynamic healthcare environment dedicated to high-quality patient care. Leverage your skills as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, CT/PET Technologist, or Imaging Specialist in a rewarding contract position, where your clinical knowledge and patient-centered approach will make a meaningful impact.
Key Qualifications:
Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT-N, NMTCB, or equivalent) Demonstrated experience operating PET/CT, SPECT, and general nuclear imaging equipment Proficient in preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection control protocols Ability to obtain quality diagnostic images and maintain detailed patient records Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with patients and healthcare team members Current BLS certification required
Primary Responsibilities:
Safely perform a variety of nuclear medicine, CT, and PET imaging procedures according to physician orders Review patient histories and explain exam procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety Administer radiopharmaceutical agents and perform quality assurance/testing measures on equipment Analyze imaging results for clarity, making necessary adjustments to obtain optimal images Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines
