Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist performs a variety of standard and specialty Magnetic Resonance (MR) procedures to produce imaging studies using radiology technology to assist physicians with formulating a medical diagnosis while complying with safety and regulatory requirements. Specifically, conducts radiology exams and documents clinically appropriate results for interpretive physicians and records.
Shift Details:
5/8's, 40 hour work week. Rotating Saturdays and early evenings.
Education and Experience:
Graduate of an AMA-approved training program for MRI ARRT or ARMRIT certification in Magnetic Resonance 1+ years of MRI experience Applicable State Licensure, where required IV credentialed if applicable BLS certification preferred
Physical Requirements:
Heavy lifting: up to 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, stoop, lift, and walk without restrictions. Requires computer-related activities for extended periods of time Requires the ability to see, hear, speak, write and key #
