Qualifications:

Current ARRT (R) certification or equivalent required Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (NY licensure preferred) Proficiency performing a variety of X-ray imaging procedures Strong knowledge of radiology safety protocols and best practices Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Minimum of one year of recent experience in an acute care or hospital environment preferred CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality X-ray imaging services to support diagnostic and treatment teams Prepare and position patients for radiologic examinations; explain procedures for patient comfort Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy Adhere strictly to radiation safety standards and hospital protocols Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records Collaborate efficiently with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members
