Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to join our Radiology team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality MRI examinations, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

July 13, 2026 Requirements Graduate of a 24-month AMA-accredited School of Radiologic Technology. ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required. ARRT certification in MRI (MR) preferred. Minimum 12 months of MRI experience preferred. New York State Radiologic Technologist license required. New York State IV Contrast certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire. BLS certification required or must be obtained within 3 months of hire. Strong communication, patient care, and teamwork skills. Position and prepare patients for MRI procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety. Produce high-quality diagnostic images for accurate interpretation. Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently while following all safety regulations. Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and respond appropriately to their needs. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Follow MRI safety standards, infection control practices, and departmental policies. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to provide high-quality patient care. Perform routine equipment checks and report any operational concerns. Deliver exceptional patient service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Pay:
$80,516.00 - $104,375.00 per year
