Job Description

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Travel Embark on a rewarding assignment as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, where your specialized skills can make a true impact on patient care. This contract role calls for an experienced professional ready to work collaboratively in a dynamic imaging environment and contribute to high-quality diagnostic outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time contract assignment (specific schedule to be provided) Potential weekend and on-call shifts based on department needs
Qualifications:
Active state licensure as required for practice in NY At least two years of recent experience in radiology, with interventional radiology exposure strongly preferred BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required) Demonstrated competency operating x-ray equipment, CR, and DR systems Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to patient-centered service
Primary Responsibilities:
Select appropriate exposure factors and perform precise patient positioning to consistently achieve high-quality diagnostic images Work closely with department team members to collaborate on problem-solving and daily operations Administer oral contrast and assist radiologists throughout procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort Adhere to medication security and maintain a professional, confidential approach to care and documentation Demonstrate proficiency with hospital information systems, Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and PACS for seamless workflow Promptly report equipment malfunctions and contribute to department efficiency by assisting with clerical duties, stocking, and patient transport as needed Provide care and communicate effectively with patients of all age groups, always respecting customers' rights and privacy Participate in ongoing performance improvement initiatives and uphold hospital standards If you have a passion for interventional imaging and are eager to further your career in a supportive and expert environment, we invite you to submit your application today.
