7:30 AM•4:00 PM Job Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with departmental protocols. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in MRI imaging, patient care, MRI safety, and diagnostic imaging procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols Position patients and MRI coils appropriately for optimal image quality Complete MRI safety screening and verify patient eligibility before scanning Educate patients regarding MRI procedures and safety requirements Evaluate image quality and ensure timely transfer to PACS systems Accurately document imaging studies within radiology information systems Schedule exams and maintain patient tracking records Assist radiologists and physicians during imaging procedures when required Maintain MRI suite cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance concerns Adhere to MRI safety standards and infection control protocols Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed Participate in continuing education and professional development activities Required Qualifications Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology Program Active New York State License in Diagnostic Radiology ARRT (MRI) Certification Current BLS Certification Strong knowledge of MRI Physics, Cross-Sectional Anatomy, Human Physiology, and Diagnostic Imaging Principles Preferred Qualifications Minimum 2 years of MRI experience Hospital or acute care experience Experience with PACS and Radiology Information Systems (RIS/IDX) Strong communication and patient care skills Required Certifications & Licensure New York State License in Diagnostic Radiology ARRT (MRI) Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) Contact Information For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
