Summary:
Under the direct supervision of a Registered Technologist, assists in the diagnostic imaging of patients, including infant through geriatric populations. Performs patient transport, equipment transport, and messenger functions. Performs cleaning responsibilities including but are not limited to the cleaning and restocking of radiographic rooms, mobile equipment, and cassettes
Qualifications:
Required:
HS Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam. Possess a BLS Certification from the AHA within the standard probationary period. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent verbal communication skills via telephone and in-person. Presents a professional appearance. Basic computer skills.
Preferred:
Coursework in Medical Terminology and Anatomy Healthcare or customer service experience.
Physical Requirements:
May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
