Job Description

JOB DETAILS
This Radiologic Technologist opportunity is with a busy, well-established urology practice in Gahanna, Ohio, a vibrant suburb just minutes from downtown Columbus. Gahanna offers the best of both worlds: a welcoming, community-oriented feel with quick access to the cultural, dining, and entertainment options of a major metropolitan area. The city is known for its picturesque Creekside District, scenic walking paths, community events, and convenient proximity to the Columbus airport and major highways, making commuting and travel easy. The practice operates out of a modern medical office setting that emphasizes efficient, patient-centered care. The environment is designed to support specialty services, including general urology, advanced prostate cancer care, and outpatient procedures. As a Radiologic Technologist on this team, you will be part of a collaborative, physician-led group committed to high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care. In this role, you will perform diagnostic radiographic exams to support a wide variety of urologic conditions. Your typical day will include preparing patients and exam rooms, verifying orders, positioning patients, and performing high-quality imaging according to protocol. You will work closely with urologists and clinical staff to ensure timely imaging that directly supports office visits, procedures, and follow-up care. You may assist in providing imaging support for minor office-based procedures and interventions, ensuring safe radiation practices and clear communication with the care team. The practice uses digital imaging and EMR systems to streamline workflow, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in image capture, labeling, and documentation. Patient volumes are consistent and predictable in this outpatient environment, offering a more regular schedule than many hospital-based roles. Patient ratios are manageable, allowing you to focus on quality, patient comfort, and a positive imaging experience. You will join a supportive, team-oriented culture where technologists, nurses, and providers work together closely. New team members receive structured onboarding and ongoing guidance to feel confident with practice-specific workflows and imaging protocols. There are opportunities to broaden your skills within the urology specialty, gain experience with more complex cases, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives surrounding patient flow, safety, and imaging quality. Gahanna's setting is an additional draw for this role. The area features parks and green spaces, popular local restaurants, festivals, and easy access to shopping and recreation. Residents enjoy a strong school system, family-friendly neighborhoods, and nearby attractions such as the Columbus Zoo, local breweries, arts districts, and collegiate sports. Whether you appreciate outdoor recreation along the creek and trails, or quick trips into Columbus for dining and entertainment, the location offers a balanced lifestyle with plenty to enjoy after work. This position is ideal for a Radiologic Technologist who values a consistent outpatient schedule, wants to develop expertise in a specialty practice, and enjoys being part of a close-knit, professional team. If the approach, location, and clinical focus appeal to you, this opportunity offers a meaningful way to use and grow your radiology skills in a high-quality urology practice.
