  • 3 years of job-related experience Prior job title or occupational experience: Radiologic Technologist § Human anatomy § Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) § Proficient in Radiology Information System (RIS) and Image Storage § Knowledge of advanced IR computer applications § Radiation Safety § Proven exemplary skills to productivity and teamwork § Ability to work independently with little or no supervision § Must possess effective verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • 100%) Preferred experience: 3 years of progressive Radiologic Technology experience 1.
Performs IR procedures of diagnostic quality as ordered by the referring physician and/or radiologist on patients of all ages according to established protocols. 2. Obtains clinical history and data for correlation with the IR procedure. 3. Implements screening and safety measures in accordance with prescribed IR policies / procedures. Performs daily and weekly QC as required. 4. Prepares and administers contrast media to the patient according to policy. Practices sterile techniques. 5. Assists Radiologist in interventional radiology procedures and in performing medical treatment during emergency situations. 6. Coordinates patient care with other areas in order to optimize patient time and satisfaction 7. Assesses learning needs and educates patients/families regarding procedures based on individual needs.
