Full Job Description Position:
Non-Destructive Testing X-Ray Technicians, with UT Shearwave / Phased Array certifications within the oil & gas industry.
Location:
  • Office based out of Strasburg, OH.
Daily travels to Customer Field Sites. Must be willing to travel.
Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Level II Technicians with current Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Shear Wave / Phased Array certification to join our team. You will perform inspections on industrial components, structures, and weldments using UT Shear Wave / Phased Array and other NDT methods while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in high-pressure environments & commitment to precision.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct radiographic inspections using X-ray equipment, UT Shear Wave, or Phased Array to identify defects such as cracks, corrosion, or inclusions in materials used in pipelines, drilling equipment, and storage tanks.
  • Collaborate with welding teams, engineers, & project managers to support pre
  • and post-weld inspections during construction, maintenance, and turnaround projects.
  • Ensure all testing complies with
API, ASME, & ISO
Standards:
Perform Level 2 technicians certifications as required.
  • Implement radiation safety measures.
  • Daily travel to remote customer locations, working in variable weather conditions and shift rotations.
  • Maintain equipment calibration records, inventory supplies, & participate in continuous improvement initiatives for NDT processes.
Required Qualifications:
  • Current NDT Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Shear Wave / Phased Array.
  • ASNT Level 2 certification in Radiographic Testing (RT).
  • Minimum 2 years of NDT inspection experience.
  • Strong understanding of applicable industry codes and standards.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites as required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
