Working in this reputable regional facility means engaging with GE MR machines (Magnet 1.5T, closed MRI) across both hospital and outpatient settings, affording you exposure to different workflows, advanced equipment, and collaboration with a dedicated medical team. With a daily average case load of 22 exams and a variety of imaging protocols, you'll expand your skills and strengthen your professional portfolio, positioning yourself for future opportunities.
Schedule:
Wednesday:
6:30 AM-5:00 PM (Imaging Lab) with on-call 7:00 PM-7:00
AM Thursday:
6:30 AM-5:00 PM (Imaging Lab)
Friday:
6:30 AM-5:00 PM (SRMC) On-call weekends: Saturday 7:00 AM-Sunday 7:00 PM (scheduled dates provided)
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year MRI experience in a hospital setting ARRT MR certification required Proficiency with GE MRI equipment, Epic EHR, and Change (GE) PACS preferred Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited program preferred BLS certification preferred upon hire (required before direct patient care) Skilled in starting IVs and administering contrast Willingness to mentor and assist with training of new staff or students
Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI technology following established protocols Ensure patient safety and provide detailed pre/post-procedure instructions Select appropriate pulse sequences and scan parameters Monitor and confirm the accuracy of imaging and procedural data Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate with maintenance
