Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Travel Discover Xenia, OH—a welcoming Midwest community with easy access to vibrant cities, scenic parks, and rich local history. Traveling to Xenia isn't just about immersing yourself in tranquil landscapes; it's a unique chance to strengthen your professional foundation, as you'll collaborate with skilled healthcare teams, expand your knowledge of advanced imaging technology, and experience a variety of workplace practices that will set your resume apart. This MRI technologist travel role exposes you to leading-edge GE 1.5T magnet systems across both hospital and outpatient environments. You'll benefit professionally from direct engagement with physicians, leadership in supporting new staff and students, and firsthand experience with hospital-based protocols. The position offers the added bonus of exploring a close-knit city, historic sites, and outdoor adventures during your downtime. Local candidates are welcome.
Schedule:
Wednesday:
6:30 AM-5:00 PM, Imaging Lab (Call 7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
Thursday:
6:30 AM-5:00
PM, Imaging Lab Friday:
6:30 AM-5:00
PM, Additional Site Call Weekends:
Saturday 7:00 AM-Sunday 7:00 PM (Select Dates)
Qualifications:
ARRT MR certification required; must obtain within one year if not current Minimum 1 year MRI department experience (hospital setting preferred) Proficient with GE MRI systems, PACS (GE Change), and
EPIC EHR
(preferred) Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institution (preferred) BLS (preferred upon hire, required before direct patient care) Proven ability to initiate IVs and administer contrast agents
Key Responsibilities:
Operate GE MRI equipment and perform daily modality functions Ensure patient and staff safety regarding MRI protocols Accurately document and verify all patient/procedural data Select appropriate scan parameters per protocol Provide patient instructions and compassionate care throughout exams Mentor new staff and oversee students Troubleshoot equipment as needed
