Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in CT imaging to a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential diagnostic services as part of a dedicated medical imaging team. Desired Qualifications:
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT required Licensed or eligible for radiologic technologist licensure as required Minimum of 1 year of experience performing CT imaging in an acute or outpatient setting Comprehensive knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols Aptitude for operating CT equipment and troubleshooting technical issues Outstanding communication and patient care skills BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately perform high-quality CT scans as ordered, adhering to physician protocols and ensuring patient safety and comfort Review imaging requests, confirm proper patient identification, and verify contraindications before procedures Monitor and assist patients before, during, and after imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and emotional support Maintain equipment, perform quality control checks, and report malfunctions as needed Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members to deliver timely, precise diagnostic information Adhere to strict infection control practices and facility safety standards at all times Document all imaging activities and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory requirements This is an excellent chance to build upon your CT imaging skills, contribute to quality patient outcomes, and experience new professional challenges within a supportive environment.
