Experience:
One year previous experience in Mammography required; experience in stereo biopsy preferred.
License:
Current state license required.
Certifications:
Current certification in Radiography and Mammography modalities required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Image Wisely pledge certificate or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafter preferred. Image Gently pledge certificate or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafter preferred. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Must-Have:
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program required. Demonstrated ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position. Ability to operate applicable office equipment. Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally with the public. Ability to maintain confidentiality and think and act independently with minimal supervision. Maintains regular, consistent, and punctual attendance at the assigned job location.
Description:
Performs a variety of Mammography exams for patients. Applies principles, theories, and techniques of Mammography imaging to provide reliable imaging results. The position may involve possible on-call and weekend work. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
