Hours Guaranteed Responsibilities:
Scrub, circulate, and monitor electrophysiology procedures including diagnostic mappings, pacemaker/ICD implants, and cardiac ablations. Assist electrophysiologists during EP procedures. Operate specialized 3D mapping systems, recording equipment, and fluoroscopy imaging systems. Maintain accurate real-time documentation using Epic EMR. Track inventory and support procedural workflow requirements. Monitor patients during procedures and ensure patient safety standards are maintained. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary cardiac care teams. Support efficient workflow within the electrophysiology laboratory. Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and quality improvement initiatives. Remain assigned within the EP specialty unit without floating requirements.
Requirements:
Experience as an EP Tech or Radiology Technologist in an Electrophysiology Lab. Strong knowledge of diagnostic EP studies, pacemaker/ICD implants, and cardiac ablations. Experience operating fluoroscopy and EP mapping equipment. Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment. Excellent attention to detail and patient safety practices.
