Full Job Description X-Ray Technologist Location:
Portland, OR Shift Schedule Monday - Thursday 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM 40 Hours Per Week Job Summary The X-Ray Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The technologist is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety, maintaining imaging equipment, and providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Active ARRT Certification required. Active Oregon Radiologic License required (or eligibility to obtain). Current BLS Certification. Minimum 1 year of recent X-Ray experience preferred. Acute care hospital experience preferred. Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols. Experience with Epic EMR preferred. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders. Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Operate and maintain radiology equipment safely and effectively. Follow radiation protection and safety guidelines. Verify patient information and maintain accurate documentation. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Monitor patient condition during imaging procedures. Ensure image quality and proper transmission of studies. Maintain equipment and report operational issues as needed. Participate in departmental quality and safety initiatives. Fulfill on-call responsibilities as assigned. For more details reach at
