1 Description American Traveler is seeking a travel X-Ray Technologist with 1+ year of experience for a 13-week assignment in McMinnville, OR at a 60-bed acute care hospital. Details 60-bed acute care, full-service hospital with a 24-hour ED, accredited by The Joint Commission and certified as an Accredited Chest Pain Center by the American College of Cardiology Diagnostic Radiology department serving all age groups across a wide variety of exam types Equipment includes GE Definium Collapsible Tower DR portables, GE XR 646 rooms, GE P500
Fluoro, and OEC C-Arms EMR:
Meditech;
PACS:
McKesson/Change Healthcare 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM, on a Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday/Friday rotation Weekend rotation required: 1 in 4 (Saturday/Sunday) On-call shifts available for C-arm coverage No float requirements Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in general X-Ray OR/surgery C-arm experience required Active ARRT certification required Current AHA BLS required Oregon (OBMI) state license required if applicable National Registry must be in good standing Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay Additional Information Surgical C-arm cases are a core part of the workload; no neuro or interventional radiology Fluoroscopy experience and light procedural experience are preferred Orientation is held weekly on Mondays Light blue scrubs are provided and required when working in the OR; any scrub color is acceptable otherwise Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months are not eligible Candidates who are employed full time elsewhere are not eligible First-time travelers will be considered based on experience and fit The facility is located in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, known for its wine country, outdoor recreation, and local culinary scene
