1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of experience and ARRT registration for a 13-week travel assignment at an academic Level 1 Trauma Center in Oregon. Details Hospital-based diagnostic imaging department within an academic medical center Works with infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations Performs all phases of general diagnostic X-Ray imaging with rotation through department areas based on workflow needs Uses PACS for image processing and archiving, and a Radiology Information System for exam tracking Epic EMR experience required 4x9 hour day shifts, Monday and Wednesday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 3:00 PM May be required to float to an affiliate hospital nearby; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist Graduate of an accredited diagnostic radiography program ARRT registered (or eligible upon hire with registration required within 6 months of hire) Current OBMI (Oregon Board of Medical Imaging) license required if applicable Active OR state license required Current BLS certification Proficiency with Epic

vaccination proof required; no exemptions accepted Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required for consideration Additional Information Performs diagnostic radiology exams including patient positioning, exposure factor determination, image processing, and archiving to PACS Assists with patient transport using standard procedures and the VIP transportation system Supports radiologists by presenting images and relevant patient information for diagnosis Performs quality control and quality assurance, documenting results and reporting equipment variances Level 1 Trauma Center and academic medical center experience are preferred Experience in an OHSU-partnered Radiologic Technology program is preferred First-time travelers should check position details for eligibility Candidates who are former employees or previous travelers at this facility must have a reference completed with the supervising manager from that assignment Former employees or travelers must have been away for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler Local candidates are accepted at the same rate; no radius restriction applies Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application and may not exceed 2 weeks
