  • $62/hr (Depending on Experience) Job Summary The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting.
The technologist will produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensure patient safety, maintain imaging equipment, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Requirements Minimum 1 year of X-Ray / Radiology Technologist experience required. Active ARRT certification required. Current state Radiologic Technologist license required (if applicable). Acute care or hospital imaging experience preferred. Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and radiation safety. Ability to work weekends and participate in on-call rotation. Experience with Epic EMR preferred. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols. Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Operate radiographic imaging equipment safely and effectively. Review images for quality and accuracy before submission for interpretation. Follow radiation safety and infection control guidelines. Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff. Monitor patients during imaging procedures and provide patient-centered care. Prepare imaging rooms and equipment for daily operations. Participate in assigned on-call coverage.
