COPY LINK link We are currently seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating orthopedic conditions. This role also includes significant patient-facing administrative responsibilities such as scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and general patient support within the electronic medical record (EMR) system. The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic environment while effectively balancing clinical imaging duties with front-office responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Imaging Duties Prepare and position patients for diagnostic X-ray procedures Adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimal imaging views Explain procedures clearly to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation Select exposure factors and operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images radiation safety and protection techniques for patients and staff Review images for accuracy, quality, and proper identification Prepare and transmit images for radiologist or physician interpretation Patient Care & Administrative Duties Greet, direct, and assist patients and visitors in a professional manner Schedule patient appointments using electronic medical record systems Complete accurate patient registration and verify insurance information Coordinate referrals and resolve insurance-related issues as needed Collect co-pays and outstanding balances and reconcile daily cash reports Answer phone calls promptly and professionally Document patient interactions accurately in the EMR Process medical records requests and disability forms Assist with coverage at satellite locations as needed

Qualifications:

Required ARRT certification (Registered Radiologic Technologist) Completion of an accredited radiology program (Associate degree, hospital-based program, or equivalent) Ability to obtain and maintain required Pennsylvania clearances: Criminal Background Check Child Abuse History Clearance FBI Fingering Clearance Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced clinical setting Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills Proficiency with electronic medical records and basicputer systems Ability to lift, position, and assist patients weighing 100+ lbs when necessary Preferred 1-2 years of radiologic technologist experience (new graduates wee to ) CPR/AED certification Prior experience in orthopedic, urgent care, or outpatient imaging settings Bilingual (Spanish)munication skills a plus Skills & Competencies Strong patient care and customer service orientation High attention to detail and imaging accuracy Ability to remain calm and efficient in a high-volume environment Team-oriented with a flexible, "help w needed" mindset Stronganizational and time-management skills Work Environment This is a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic clinic environment w efficiency, accuracy, and patient experience are top priorities. The role requires frequent standing, patient interaction, and physical assistance with patient positioning and mobility.
