Company Overview Susquehanna Valley Diagnostic Imaging is a comprehensive, multi-modality, diagnostic imaging center serving a rural community in the Susquehanna Valley. Our facility offers a wide range of outpatient services, including X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and Dexa imaging in a patient-centered environment that emphasizes quality care and convenience. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist with CT and X-ray certification to join our imaging team on a per diem basis. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in diagnostic medical imaging. This role requires a professional committed to delivering precise imaging services while maintaining the highest standards of safety, patient care, and technical excellence. Duties Perform computed tomography (CT) scans with precision, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. Conduct X-ray procedures across various clinical settings, including orthopedic clinic and surgical OR coverage. Assist with specialized imaging procedures such as CT scans, DEXA scans, Arthrograms, Arthrocentesis, and X-rays as needed. Ensure patient positioning, safety protocols, and comfort are prioritized throughout each procedure. Operate CT equipment in compliance with ALARA standards, radiation safety regulations, and facility quality assurance protocols. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed and ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained. Qualifications Certification in Radiologic Technology with valid X-ray certification; additional certification in CT is required. Proven experience performing diagnostic radiology procedures in a clinical setting. Knowledge of nuclear medicine, ultrasound (sonography), mammography, DEXA scans, and PET imaging is highly desirable. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic evaluation. Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control standards within medical imaging settings. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
