Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal position where your expertise in MRI imaging helps deliver high-quality care and accurate diagnostics. This contract opportunity seeks a skilled MRI technologist who is dedicated to patient safety, detail-oriented procedures, and effective collaboration within a healthcare team.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification and registration in MRI technology (ARRT-MR or equivalent) Previous experience performing MRI procedures in a clinical setting Thorough understanding of MRI safety protocols for patients and staff Strong communication skills and ability to offer compassionate patient care Competence operating and troubleshooting MRI equipment Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and imaging software Willingness to adapt to varying work schedules and workflow (schedule details to be provided)
Responsibilities:
Conduct MRI procedures according to physician orders and established protocols Prepare and position patients to ensure high-quality images and comfort Maintain MRI equipment through routine inspections and troubleshooting Accurately document patient information, procedures, and images Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to clarify instructions as needed Monitor and maintain inventory of imaging and safety supplies Adhere to infection control and patient privacy regulations
