Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into an essential role as an MRI Technologist, where your expertise in imaging will contribute directly to high-quality patient care. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional with a background in MRI technology to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient comfort and safety, and collaborate with a dedicated clinical team.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Current registry with ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT strongly preferred Completion of an accredited MRI technology program Prior experience as an MRI Technologist, including both inpatient and outpatient settings Aptitude for operating MRI systems and troubleshooting imaging equipment Strong communication skills, with a focus on patient-centered service Ability to follow stringent safety protocols involving magnetic resonance environments Valid state licensure/certification, as required
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI scans based on physician orders and established protocols Prepare patients for imaging procedures, clearly explaining steps and confirming safety screenings Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images Monitor patients during procedures to ensure comfort and safety Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs in accordance with regulations Work collaboratively with radiologists and other clinicians for optimal care Uphold a safe, organized, and clean work area compliant with infection control and radiological safety standards
