Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Take your expertise in MRI imaging to the next level with this dynamic opportunity in a healthcare setting devoted to delivering exceptional patient care. Your skills in operating MRI technology will have a meaningful impact, assisting clinical teams in diagnosing and treating patients with precision and compassion.
Key Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program with specialized MRI training ARRT (MRI) certification or eligibility preferred Valid state technologist license (or ability to obtain) Proven experience performing MRI procedures and operating advanced MRI equipment Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and infection control practices Excellent communication skills; ability to explain procedures clearly to patients Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and accuracy in documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring comfort and accuracy Interpret physician orders and tailor imaging protocols to specific diagnostic needs Operate and troubleshoot MRI machines, consistently producing high-quality images Adhere strictly to safety protocols for patients and staff, including managing contraindications for MRI procedures Document procedures and patient information accurately within electronic health records Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure diagnostic images meet clinical requirements Provide supportive care, addressing patient questions and concerns throughout the imaging process
