Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Advance your career as a key member of a healthcare imaging team, utilizing your radiology expertise to make a positive impact on patient care. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled and compassionate Radiology Technologist prepared to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on radiology imaging experience, clearly documented on your resume Active and current radiology certification (must be in hand at time of application) Proven ability to work efficiently with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff Strong technical aptitude with digital imaging equipment and PACS systems Detail-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to delivering compassionate care and maintaining strict patient confidentiality Flexibility to work shifts as determined in the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images for accurate interpretation Prepare patients for imaging exams and provide clear instructions to ensure safety and comfort Operate radiologic equipment in accordance with safety guidelines and hospital policies Accurately document procedures, maintaining comprehensive patient records Collaborate with medical staff to review images and assist in diagnosis Uphold all infection control protocols and regulatory standards in the imaging suite Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and report any operational concerns promptly
