Job Description

Per Diem/Casual Job Description Provides radiographic imaging services in accordance with certification.
POSITION SUMMARY
The X-Ray Technologist provides patient services using all imaging modalities available at the Center. Performs radiographic procedures. Applies principles of radiation protection. Evaluates radiographs for technical quality. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures. Provides patient care essential to radiographic procedures. Utilizing the principles of radiation protection (A.L.A.R.A.), the X-ray technician provides technical support under the direction of the attending physician by performing radiographic imaging. The X-ray technician safely operates Center radiographic equipment and develops and evaluates filmed images for technical quality in cooperation with the attending physician.

$35.00 per hour
