Part-time, Full-time Position Overview:
Quickmed Urgent Care is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to join our clinical team. This role is responsible for performing radiologic examinations in accordance with established procedures while ensuring patient care, safety, and comfort. The ideal candidate will also support front desk and medical assisting duties as needed to maintain smooth clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and register patients upon arrival Answer and triage phone calls professionally and efficiently Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform X-rays according to safety protocols Utilize radiation protection measures to ensure patient and staff safety Monitor and report radiology equipment performance; notify the department head of any malfunctions Log radiologic procedures accurately and maintain up-to-date records Obtain insurance pre-authorizations for CT scans as required Ensure all images are properly sent to and interpreted by our teleradiology provider Communicate any radiology report discrepancies to the medical provider Assist in cleaning and stocking the facility alongside other team members Perform basic medical assistant or occupational medicine technician duties to support patient flow
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program ARRT Certification and valid Ohio Radiologic License 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or physician office setting CPR certification preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Capable of working independently and exercising sound clinical judgment Professional, tactful, and diplomatic when handling sensitive patient issues Join a team that is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care while fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
