Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Make a significant contribution to patient care by utilizing your MRI expertise within a collaborative healthcare environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about imaging technology and delivering accurate, high-quality diagnostic services.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to produce detailed images for physician interpretation. Prepare and position patients for MRI scans with consideration for safety and comfort. Review and verify physicians' orders and clinical information prior to exams. Maintain clear, accurate patient records and comply with all regulatory standards. Monitor equipment performance, complete safety checks, and report issues promptly. Educate patients and families on MRI procedures and address any questions or concerns. Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and technologists to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications:
Valid certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT(MR) or equivalent). Demonstrated experience operating MRI machines in a busy clinical or hospital setting. Solid understanding of imaging protocols, patient safety procedures, and infection control. Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support patient and team collaboration. Current BLS certification required.
