Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Certified Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality imaging service and assist the surgical team during operative procedures. This position combines the technical skills required to operate radiographic equipment with the sterile technique. The role supports a smooth workflow in the operating rooms, ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and efficiency within our surgery center. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging intraoperatively and postoperatively as requested by surgeons Position and immobilize patients properly for imaging, ensuring safety and comfort Operate fluoroscopic and C-Arm equipment during surgical cases while maintaining sterile field integrity Set appropriate technical factors (exposure time, voltage, current) for optimal imaging Adhere to radiation safety protocols, including use of lead shielding, dosimetry monitoring, and ALARA principles Maintain accurate imaging records and ensure images are properly stored in EMR system Maintain aseptic technique at all times, including during imaging processes within the OR Assist in room turnover and instrument processing when needed Monitor and maintain adequate supply levels of surgical and imaging disposables Maintain current certifications and continuing education requirements for both radiologic and surgical technology Participate in safety checks, equipment inspections, and quality improvement initiatives Demonstrate effective infection control and radiation protection practices Experience Candidates should possess experience in various clinical settings.
Preferred qualifications include:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Familiarity with medical terminology and medical documentation practices. 1-3 years experience in surgical technology preferred Previous C-Arm/intraoperative imaging experience strongly preferred Background in orthopedics, podiatry, and/or pain management is a plus. Ability to multi-task and function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment
Pay:
$41.20 - $41.95 per hour
