Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the imaging process and ensuring their comfort and safety. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for timely and accurate reporting. Maintain detailed patient records and adhere to established protocols, quality assurance, and safety standards. Manage imaging equipment by conducting routine calibrations and reporting technical issues promptly.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid certification in MRI (ARRT MRI or equivalent). Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) in Pennsylvania. Demonstrated experience as an MRI technologist, ideally in high-volume or varied clinical environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
