Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Advance your imaging career as a skilled CT/PET Technologist supporting patient diagnostics in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks, ideal for professionals ready to make an immediate impact in patient care and medical imaging excellence.
Schedule Options:
Choose between 4x10-hour shifts or 5x8-hour shifts to complete a 40-hour workweek, offering some flexibility in your weekly routine.
Key Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) is required. Active Pennsylvania state license to practice as a CT/PET Technologist. Proven expertise performing CT and PET imaging in a hospital or advanced outpatient setting. Excellent ability to follow safety protocols and deliver compassionate patient care. Strong technical troubleshooting and effective communication skills. Previous experience as a traveler or in a contract healthcare position is preferred but not mandatory.
Primary Responsibilities:
Independently operate CT and PET scanning equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging. Collaborate with radiologists and referring clinicians to support timely and accurate patient diagnoses. Prepare and position patients safely for scans, ensuring comfort and comprehensive patient education throughout the process. Document procedures and maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Participate in equipment calibrations and routine quality assurance to sustain optimal performance.
