Job Description

Earn a $10,000 sign-on bonus when you join the team! UPMC Shadyside is seeking a flex full-time Diagnostic Tech Advanced to join our consolidated outpatient team! This position offers a flexible daylight schedule with shifts of 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:30am-5:00pm — no evenings, weekends, or holidays required! Responsibilities include:
  • Performing all responsibilities of a Diagnostic Tech I
  • Assisting with QA, regulatory testing, technical initiatives, and research projects
  • Demonstrating competency with specialty equipment including O.R. and fluoroscopy procedures
  • Monitoring quality control activities and maintaining advanced imaging knowledge and patient care standards
  • Functioning independently while supporting satellite locations and off-shift coverage as needed
  • Participating in system-wide standardization initiatives and protocol development with Radiologists
  • Assisting with the training and development of staff and student technologists
