Now Hiring:
Diagnostic Technologist (All Levels Welcome) UPMC Williamsport UPMC Williamsport is seeking a skilled and motivated Diagnostic Technologist to join our team. We welcome applicants at all experience levels, including Advanced-Level Technologists . In this role, you'll work with a supportive team while performing a variety of imaging procedures with a high level of independence and clinical judgment. Schedule & Commitment We've outlined the schedule clearly so you know exactly what to expect:
Core Schedule Monday-Friday:
7:30 AM
  • 4:00 PM Weekend Rotation Every other month rotation: Month 1: Work onsite
Saturday & Sunday:
7:30 AM
  • 3:30 PM Month 2: On-call coverage Saturday 7:00 AM → Sunday 11:30 PM On-Call Expectations Weekday on-call: Approximately 4-5 days per month , after shift until 9:00 PM Holiday Commitment 1 holiday per year worked onsite: 7:30 AM
  • 3:30 PM 1 additional holiday on-call: 7:00 AM
  • 11:30 PM What You'll Do Perform diagnostic imaging procedures independently using established protocols Utilize advanced imaging equipment to capture and document high-quality images Review physician orders and patient history to ensure accurate imaging Follow patient identification and safety protocols at all times Administer oral and rectal contrast per policy Ensure all exams are: Accurately documented in the EMR Properly coded and tracked in RIS Successfully archived in ISITE Correctly charged Adjust imaging techniques as needed using clinical judgment and critical thinking What Makes You a Great Fit Ability to work independently with confidence and sound judgment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality imaging Excellent communication skills and ability to put patients at ease A team-oriented approach with a focus on efficient, compassionate care Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and respond to patient needs Why Join UPMC Williamsport?
