Non-Exempt A Brief Overview Operates radiologic equipment and performs MRI procedures by performing the following duties. Experience Qualifications 1 year MRI experience.   • ARRT Required Magnetic Resonance Imaging
  • MRI•ARRT Preferred Basic Life Support•BLS Required within 90 days of hire.
What you will do Perform MRI procedures by preparing and positioning patient for diagnostic imaging procedures. Assists radiologist in examinations. Measures and administers contrast media. Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation. Adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by physician. Processes images and reviews for proper identification and quality control. Prepares images for reading by radiologist or requesting physician. Performs routine maintenance, diagnoses malfunctions, and makes minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging for repairs as needed. Completes forms and maintains records, logs, and reports of work performed. Performs office work including, but not limited to, answering phone, filing, obtaining information from computer, typing cards to stamp films, and ordering departmental supplies.
