Job Description

Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity utilizing your expertise in medical imaging within a supportive ambulatory interventional pain environment. This contract role spans 13 weeks and focuses on X-ray imaging in a facility equipped with Philips Carestream and GE systems, as well as portables and C-Arms. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging and contributing to patient comfort and safety.
Schedule:
5x8 hour day shifts Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Qualifications:
Active ARRT (R) certification Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Rhode Island Radiologic Technology License (pending applications accepted) 1+ year experience in Ambulatory Interventional Pain imaging (required) Proficiency with general X-ray imaging, including use of C-Arms and portable equipment Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures for interventional pain management cases Operate and maintain Philips, Carestream, GE equipment, C-Arms, and portable X-ray units Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff for procedural imaging support Ensure accurate patient identification, preparation, and positioning Adhere to all safety and radiation protection guidelines Document procedures and observations accurately within electronic medical records Assist in maintaining inventory and readiness of imaging equipment Support patient education and provide exceptional care throughout each encounter If you're ready to leverage your radiologic technology skills in a dynamic and impactful setting, this role offers the chance to make a tangible difference in patient outcomes.
