Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract An experienced Imaging professional is needed to provide CT and CT/PET technical support within a fast-paced emergency room setting. This is a 13-week contract role, with an immediate start date available.
Schedule/Hours:
40 hours per week Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (11:30 PM - 10:00 AM) Week 2: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (11:30 PM - 10:00 AM) No call required
Qualifications:
ARRT (RT)(R)(CT) certification required Current Rhode Island license (allow 3-4 weeks for processing if needed) BLS certification required COVID, Booster, and Flu vaccines required (Medical declination accepted for booster only; religious declinations not accepted) Experience operating Siemens Definition AS+ and
GE VCT 64
Slice CT scanners Familiarity with
EPIC EMR
a plus Knowledge of Medrad injectors; GE PACS experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and CT/PET exams, primarily for emergency room patients Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment Produce diagnostic images according to physician orders and established protocols Adhere to infection control and safety standards Accurately document procedures and patient information using relevant systems Collaborate effectively with ER staff and providers to ensure responsive patient care
