Job Description

What We Offer Novant Health is seeking a Multimodality Radiologic Technologist for our NEW Bluffton Free Standing Emergency Department The Multimodality Radiologic Technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating imaging equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images. The Multimodality Radiologic Technologists must work 75% in a primary modality as assigned and 25% in a secondary modality
What We're Looking For Education:
2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.
Experience:
Minimum of three years of experience in diagnostic radiology, required.
Licensure/Certification:
Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R), required. In addition, certified and registered in two or more of the following: CT, MR, Mammography, Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography, Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography, Ultrasound, or Nuclear Medicine. Certification and registration may be through the ARRT, ARDMS, or
NMTCB. IV
Credentialed, required. Applicable state licensure, required. Additional Skills (required): Knowledge of procedures and standards for specific modalities based on certifications. Skill in operation of equipment. Certification and registered in additional specialties (not including RT). Additional Skills (preferred) : Applies advanced skills in area of specialization. Adapts procedures, protocols, techniques and equipment to meet special needs. Ability to network and recruit to gain new talent for the Centers. Why Choose Novant Health?
