Job Description

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract Advance your healthcare imaging career by utilizing your expertise as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract position calls for skilled professionals adept at delivering high-quality patient care while supporting complex imaging procedures and assisting the clinical team. Qualified candidates should possess the following: Active ARRT certification in Radiography Current license in the state or eligibility to obtain prior to start Minimum of one year of experience in Interventional Radiology or related imaging field Proficiency in operating IR equipment, digital imaging, and related software Understanding of sterile techniques and strong knowledge of radiation safety standards Ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff Excellent communication skills and compassionate patient interaction BLS certification required; ACLS a plus Key functions within this role include: Preparing patients for IR procedures and obtaining informed consent Operating advanced IR imaging technology and monitoring image quality Assisting radiologists and other physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures Ensuring adherence to aseptic and sterile protocols throughout each procedure Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulations Monitoring patient well-being before, during, and after procedures Maintaining and troubleshooting diagnostic equipment Participating in ongoing quality assurance and improvement initiatives This contract opportunity offers professionals an excellent platform to deepen their clinical expertise and make meaningful contributions to patient outcomes.
