Travel assignment-based rotation
Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent required) Demonstrated experience in performing radiological exams, including X-Ray, DXA, Fluoroscopy, Operating Room studies, Portables, and CTs Thorough understanding of proper patient identification, exam verification, and confidential patient care Commitment to providing excellent patient experiences and upholding service excellence standards Capable of performing with minimal supervision following successful orientation Strong technical knowledge of imaging equipment, confirmed by competency assessments Ability to complete annual training and practice age-specific care
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain a professional image and deliver exemplary service to patients, families, physicians, and colleagues Ensure accurate patient identification and correct procedure orders, clarifying and documenting as necessary Conduct exams efficiently, positioning patients correctly while maintaining attentiveness and comfort Explain procedures thoroughly to reduce patient anxiety and enhance understanding Guarantee image quality and successful PACS transfer prior to radiologist review Keep all required documentation and data up to accrediting standards (MQSA for mammography technologists) Manage equipment, remain productive, and adhere to hospital protocols for all radiology modalities
