Job Summary Supervises, administers, and performs operations involved within the department.

High school graduate or equivalent with additional college-level courses in the related area.
Must have the ability to perform inspection functions such as visual inspection to detect cosmetic defects and color differentiation of products.
Four (4) to six (6) years of directly related experience with at least (2) years' experience as a supervisor.
Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position. Any unscheduled absence or tardy will have a negative impact on our ability to meet our production objectives.
Responsible for making out a Maintenance requisition for any changeovers in setups.
Must schedule orders out on machines in order to insure the best possible delivery date.
Has the responsibility of making sure that the employees in the Extrusion department properly performs the following: o Safety and handling precautions o Set up procedures o Day to day operator procedures o Process controls o All inspection criteria are met o Calibration of all laser mikes are checked once a week o Weekly extruder shutdown is properly performed o All records are filled out properly and in its entirety by the employee
