Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract A healthcare facility is seeking a knowledgeable CT/PET Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging services to patients. In this role, you will play a key part in patient diagnosis and care through the operation of state-of-the-art imaging equipment. This is a contract opportunity ideal for professionals experienced in both CT and PET modalities.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification in CT and/or PET imaging technology. Demonstrated proficiency operating CT and PET equipment with a strong understanding of imaging protocols. ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (PET) certification preferred. Active and unrestricted relevant radiologic technologist licensure. Minimum of one year of recent experience in CT and PET imaging environments. Ability to maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient communication and collaboration with clinical teams.
Role Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and PET scans according to physician orders and established safety protocols. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and minimizing exposure. Monitor the safety and performance of imaging equipment; report any malfunction or required maintenance. Review images for clarity and adequacy, relaying findings to radiologists for interpretation. Maintain accurate documentation for each imaging procedure, supporting efficient workflow. Uphold strict compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards at all times. Participate in continuing education and training as necessary for certification renewal and professional development.
