CT Technologist - Hanahan, SC

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract This opportunity is ideal for a certified CT Technologist with experience in imaging, specifically in CT and PET/CT technology. The position is a 10-week contract based in Hanahan, SC, with a weekday schedule and some on-call shifts, offering exposure to diverse imaging cases and work environments within the local region.

Key Qualifications:

South Carolina Radiation Quality Standard Association (SCRQSA) Radiographer Certification ARRT Radiography (R) Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred:

ANM certification from AART (American Academy of Radiologic Technologists)

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM 2 to 3 on-call shifts approximately every 6 weeks Floating to other nearby facilities as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality CT scans following safety protocols and clinical guidelines Manage PET/CT imaging procedures with accuracy and efficiency Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and imaging outcomes Maintain proper equipment operation and report any issues promptly Adhere to all regulatory and facility standards for radiation safety

Additional Information:

This is a contract position requiring local candidates to reside at least 50 miles away from the facility. Breast Radiation exposure rate is maintained at 90 - 5% with 16 NBO.
