Job Description
Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract As a CT technologist, you will play a vital role in patient care by producing high-quality computerized tomography images for diagnostic interpretation. Under the supervision of certified radiologists and following established protocols, you will perform imaging of designated anatomical areas and work collaboratively to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses. In addition to direct patient care, you may be called upon to supervise student Radiologic Technologists and assist radiologists during specialized procedures, all while contributing to a positive patient and family experience.

Expertise in CT imaging procedures ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (RT) with advanced CT certification preferred Proficiency in following established imaging protocols and safety standards Demonstrated ability to provide patient-focused, age-appropriate care Excellent communication skills for interacting with medical staff, patients, and families Experience supervising or mentoring students a plus Familiarity with ALARA principles, DHEC, and TJC guidelinesKey Responsibilities:
Safeguard patient care and well-being during imaging procedures, utilizing established safety protocols Accurately follow written orders and prepare imaging equipment for efficient use Assist in the education and supervision of student technologists during clinical assignments Minimize repeat scans and maintain responsible use of imaging supplies Prepare and instruct patients about procedures, supporting informed consent and family communication Accurately document orders, diagnoses, and patient histories in computer systems Collaborate closely with radiologists and maintain professionalism in all exchanges Demonstrate compliance with all regulatory, safety, and confidentiality guidelines Participate in ongoing education to uphold licensure and facility requirements This opportunity offers a professionally dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact patient outcomes and support the development of future technologists.
