Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols Prepare patients for MRI procedures, clearly explaining the process and addressing questions or concerns Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout examinations Collaborate closely with radiologists and interdisciplinary medical teams Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation Monitor MRI systems for proper functioning and report issues as needed Adhere to confidentiality and infection control standards at all times
Qualifications:
Current ARRT (MRI) certification required State licensure as required for South Carolina Previous experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or acute care setting preferred Strong communication and patient care skills Proficient with imaging equipment and software Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
