Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic healthcare environment where your expertise in MRI imaging makes a difference every day. As an MRI Technologist, you will bring your technical skills and patient-focused attitude to a supportive team, contributing directly to quality diagnostic care.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Registration or certification in MRI Technology (e.g., ARRT (MR) or equivalent) Demonstrated proficiency operating MRI equipment and related imaging systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting Excellent communication abilities to interact with patients and healthcare providers Up-to-date knowledge of patient safety, HIPAA regulations, and radiation safety protocols Prior experience in a hospital or imaging center is highly preferred
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality MRI scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate imaging and patient comfort Prepare patients for exams, answering questions and alleviating concerns regarding the imaging process Follow established safety and operational procedures while handling MRI equipment Maintain clear and accurate electronic health records of performed procedures Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to expedite diagnoses and optimize workflow Monitor equipment performance and assist with routine quality control and maintenance activities Adhere to infection prevention guidelines and contribute to a clean, safe clinical environment This contract opportunity allows you to leverage your specialized imaging skills in a facility committed to medical excellence and patient-centered service.
